Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with development and product management teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing of applications to identify defects, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, report findings, and work with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Maintain and enhance the automated testing infrastructure and ensure that automated tests are reliable and maintainable.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members and foster a culture of quality across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation purposes is a plus.
